About Cosy Craft Club

A craft subscription for anyone who loves to try something new

We believe the best part of crafting is the trying. Our kits are designed to take away the overwhelm of where to start, so you can get straight to the joy of making.

Meet Rachel

I'm Rachel, and I'm what you might call a serial crafter. I can never stick to just one craft, I have to try them all!

My crafting journey began when I was a child. My mum was a crafter too, and she introduced me to knitting, card making, cross stitch and tapestry, all of which I loved. When I left home, crafts fell by the wayside for years (I really didn't know what I was missing). It wasn't until my late twenties, when I needed to raise money for a charity trip, that my sister-in-law suggested I try making jewellery to sell. I got stuck in, and ended up making over £500! But more importantly, I fell back in love with crafting, and that love has only grown since.

I carried on making jewellery for a while, until Pinterest showed me all kinds of other crafts I wanted to try. It didn't take long to realise I wasn't someone with one favourite craft, I actually really loved the trying itself. These days my go-to crafts are knitting, crochet, embroidery, punch needle and papercrafts, but I've now had a go at over 90 crafts through Cosy Craft Club!

I'm also a wife and mum of twins, living on the edge of beautiful Bath. When I'm not crafting, I'm usually gardening, baking, reading, writing the newsletter for my local craft club or running a Sunday school session at church. There really aren't enough hours in the day!

Our story

About Cosy Craft Club

Cosy Craft Club grew out of two things: my love of trying new crafts, and my frustration at never knowing where to start with them. I'd read an article about subscription businesses and had a thought I couldn't shake, that a box which let you try a different craft every month would be the most fun thing in the world! I hoped other people might feel the same way, and it turned out to be true. Since the first box went out in January 2019, over 1,000 crafters have tried everything from bargello to batik, punch needle to papercutting, alongside me.

We've been lucky enough to be featured in publications such as The Telegraph, Prima, Happiful, and Crafts Beautiful, and won Best Craft Product at the Best of Crafts Awards 2021. For every new subscription, we also donate £2 to Knit for Peace, so your box does a little good beyond your own crafting table too.

A happy crafter with a Cosy Craft Club box

My aim every month is to provide everything you need, with nothing to figure out.

Every box is carefully curated so the decision of what to try next is already made for you. Inside, you'll find everything required to complete the project, instructions written to be clear and accessible even if you've never tried the craft before, a bio card telling you about the independent UK maker behind that month's kit, and a teabag and chocolate (because crafting should feel like a moment to yourself). The aim is always the same: an achievable, beautiful finished project you're genuinely proud of.

Ready to try something new?

If trying something new, without the overwhelm of working out where to begin, sounds like your kind of thing, you're exactly who this was built for.
