Create your own colourful knitted word to display in your home!
Knitted wire words are easy and fun to make. We’ll be learning how to use a knitting mill to knit a long cord in our chosen colour (it’s like a mechanical French dolly, and knits a tube really quickly!) and then thread it over wire before forming our word. Choose any word of 4 letters or less for your first word, and if you pick it up quickly there should be time to make a second word or shape.
No experience necessary - this workshop is suitable for crafters of all levels as well as non-crafters. Bring a friend or two and enjoy crafting your decorations together!
This workshop includes a free drink, and additional refreshments can be purchased at the cafe.
