Learn the fun craft of punch needle and make a pretty coaster or two to use in your home!
Punch needle is a quick form of embroidery that uses a hollow needle to “punch” a line of stitches onto fabric. Some people struggle with punch needle on their own, but I generally find that once I've taught them the key things to remember, they come out of my workshops with a new skill under their belt!
In this workshop we're going to be making a coaster using punch needle embroidery in your choice of design, and if you get going with it quickly, you can make two!
No experience necessary - this workshop is suitable for crafters of all levels as well as non-crafters. Bring a friend or two and enjoy crafting your lights together!
This workshop includes a free hot drink, and additional refreshments can be purchased at the Crafter’s Corner cafe.
When: Friday 9th May, 10.30am-12.30pm
Where: Flourish, Glenavon Farm, Saltford, BS31 3TJ
Tickets: £40 per person
Please note: the workshops are held in ‘Crafter’s Corner’ which is located in the second building on the Flourish site. If you face the main shop and cafe and look to your right, you’ll see the building, which also houses a homewares shop and pottery painting hall.
