Botanical Resin necklaces from Create & Bloom

If you’ve ever seen beautiful flowers encased in clear resin, now is your chance to have a go! This kit makes 3 pendants with pressed dried flowers for you to arrange as you wish, to turn into necklaces or keyrings. It’s a great introduction to two part resin if you’ve not used it before, and a fun quick project if you have.

What is resin art?

Resin art is a craft that uses a two part resin to create beautiful pieces, such as coasters, wall art, and jewellery. It works by mixing the two parts (resin and hardener) together, triggering a chemical reaction that cures the mixture into a hard, transparent, glass-like finish. Colours and objects such as dried flowers or glitter can be embedded into the resin with great effect.

What you’ll make

With this kit, you will use dried flowers and resin to create 3 beautiful botanical necklaces. You will have a selection of dried flowers which you can arrange as you like and then use the resin to preserve the design in a glass-like pendant with silver outline detail.

The kit also comes with keyrings to attach to the pendants if you don’t want to make necklaces.
