Punch needle embroidery is created using a special hollow needle with yarn threaded through. As you 'punch' the needle through the fabric and lift it out again, a loop of yarn is created on the back of the fabric, and the fabric grips the yarn to keep it in place. Then move your needle to create a stitch and punch again. It's as easy as that! And very quick and satisfying too!
