Wet felting kit from Felted Yarns

Wet felting uses a combination of agitation, soap and water to make a felted material out of wool fibres. This kit from Felted Yarns makes an abstract coastal picture, which you will design yourself. Part of the fun of wet felting is that the results are different every time!

With this kit you’ll learn how to layer up loose wool fibres to create a base for your picture, and then your design on top. This stage is enjoyable as you decide where to place the different colours and how you’d like to blend them to create your chosen design. Then you wet your picture and felt the fibres together to make a solid felted fabric - be prepared for a lot of rubbing!

This kit is a great introduction to the art of wet felting and a fun way to spend a couple of hours!
